Roscoe Glisson offers counseling with individuals, couples, and families. He has thousands of hours listening to and counseling with his clients.

 

I use a mix of counseling techniques including Adlerian Psychology, Gestalt Psychology, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Accelerated Resolution Therapy.

 

I also run the counseling office of the First Christian Church of Wauchula every Friday. I also provide counseling services at Morning Star Counseling Center here in Tampa throughout the week. My main office is at 6505 N. Himes Ave. In my practice I focus on the individual and relational issues that people bring to me.

 

I believe God has placed me in this position because of the talents and abilities He has provided me. The population which I deal with is mostly people who are Christians, but I have also counseled with Buddhists and Muslims. I retired from News Channel Eight after forty-six years of employment and now that I’m “retired” God continues to bless me with the clients He sends me every day.
